In summer 2010, Japanese singer and actor GACKT had the honor to play for the very first time in Europe. He played five concerts in the U.K., France, Spain and Germany.

As soon as the tickets were on sale, servers crashed because no one had expected such a huge run on the tickets, which were soon sold out. Some people decided to resell their tickets on eBay and since demand was huge, they often made a profit of several hundreds of Euros.

After five successful shows with only a few technical problems here and there (as well as GACKT falling into the crowd) the singer promised he would come back. 2010 drew to a close and when 2011 begun, there was still no news about another Europe tour…

The wait is now over!

European dates have been announced, though many have wondered if GACKT will finally make his much-anticipated debut in the U.S. (so far the only time he has played in the States was in 2007, when he performed with the so-called super band S.K.I.N., consisting of GACKT, Miyavi, SUGIZO and YOSHIKI).
