International Pop Conspiracy (IPC) proudly announces Tune in Tokyo on Thursday, June 18th, 2009. Join Greg Hignight, DJ Tora, DJ Del, DJ Ally, and DJ Yuki as they present the best in J-Pop, J-Rock, Neo-Soul, J-Urban, and J-Electro! Tune in Tokyo is LA’s only all-Japanese club event, celebrating the exciting and eclectic world of Japanese music and fashion. Our DJs will also be spinning K-Pop, Canto-Pop, French Pop, Alternativo, and dance music from around the world!
Visual Kei, Lolita, Gyaru, Cosplay, and all Japanese fashion is encouraged!
Tune in Tokyo is held every third Thursday of the month at Matsumoto’s 2nd Street Jazz in Little Tokyo. 2nd Street Jazz is the premier destination in the Little Tokyo area for music fans, with monthly Dub, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Jazz events. The venue frequently plays host to many live appearances by Asian, and Asian-American performers as well. 2nd Street Jazz is located at 366 E 2nd Street, at the corner of 2nd and Central, in Los Angeles.
