ASTERISM is a three-piece heavy metal band comprising of HAL-CA (Guitar), MIYU (Bass), and MIO (Drums). All three members have had a passion for music since childhood. HAL-CA had a solo career, while MIO and MIYU performed as a sibling duo. In 2014, they crossed paths at a music competition, which led to the band’s formation.

Since 2019 when they were teenagers, ASTERISM has been actively performing domestically and internationally, including tours in the U.S. and Asia, as well as a notable appearance at SXSW. In March 2023, they made their major debut with SME Records.

Their musical journey revolves around a new genre they’ve dubbed “MASS METAL”, emphasizing music meticulously composed to reach, resonate with, and be adored by a broad audience. Their unique pop sensibilities underpin their quest for global expansion.
