B’z and Linkin Park team up for a special fundraising concert
In the months since the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan’s north-eastern coast the country has seen a tremendous amount of support from all over the world. From small donations to record-setting celebrity auctions, money has poured in through various charities and organizations to help relief and restoration efforts across the Tohoku region.
International rock superstars Linkin Park are teaming up with Japan’s hottest hard rock duo B’z to put on a special concert in Los Angeles for fans that raise $500 or more for Japanese Earthquake Relief by August 24.
Special prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers to encourage people to keep going beyond the required $500, including meet-and-greets, signed memorabilia and VIP access to the concert.
To become part of the effort all you have to do is log on to the Music for Relief website and pledge to take the challenge by creating your own donation page. If you can’t participate in the competition you can still help by passing the page around and donating directly to organizations such as Music for Relief and the Japanese Red Cross.
