Tune in Tokyo’s First Anniversary Party on Thursay, October 15th, 2009

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 6, 2009)— International Pop Conspiracy proudly announces the Tune in Tokyo First Anniversary Event at 2nd Street Jazz in Little Tokyo. LA’s first all J-Pop and J-Rock club event is celebrating its first year of global dance beats and cutting-edge Japanese fashion.

The event will feature live performances by special guests Stephanie Yanez, NIRF, and Maganda. Known for her win at AX Idol 2004, Stephanie has toured the U.S. and Japan and has recently released her first album, "Sides". She’ll be performing with NIRF, fresh from their summer tour in Japan. LA-based artist Maganda will be performing as well, and welcoming everyone to his first CD release party, in conjuncture with Tune in Tokyo’s anniversary event.

Guests are encouraged to dress up or cosplay. We are adopting a "shiny" theme for our anniversary party.

As always, our Tune in Tokyo DJs Greg Hignight, DJ Tora, DJ Del, DJ Ally, and DJ Yuki will be spinning the best in J-Pop, J-Rock, J-Urban, Para Para, K-Pop and more! There will also be prize giveaways courtesy of Cure Magazine, Cools, and IkeMac.

Our monthly event is held at Matsumoto’s 2nd Street Jazz in Little Tokyo. 2nd Street Jazz is the premier destination in the Little Tokyo area for music fans, with monthly Dub, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Jazz events. The venue frequently plays host to Asian, and Asian-American acts. 2nd Street Jazz is located at 366 E 2nd Street, at the corner of 2nd and Central, in Los Angeles.
